Karim Benzema unleased some serious mechanics as he put Real Madrid back in the tie with a stunning scissor kick goal against Chelsea.
It was Real Madrid’s only shot on target in the match as the French striker struck the 71st Champions League goal of his career.
Zinedine Zidane’s men needed a reply after being pegged back early when Christian Pulisic found the back of the net in the 14th minute. And reply they did as Benzema served a reminder of his world-class ability.
What made the effort even more special was the fact that Benzema didn’t go for a header goal but instead, used his head to control the ball and then volleyed it to the back of the net with a flying kick.
Absolute Rolls-Royce of a goal, check it out below –

🏅Grâce à son but Karim Benzema est le 4e meilleur buteur de l’histoire de la Champions League à égalité avec Raul.
