Riyad Mahrez bested Keylor Navas with a free kick from the edge of the box to give Manchester City a 2-1 away win in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final tie against Paris Saint-Germain.
Pep Guardiola completely changed it around for City at the break as the away side were excellent in the second half at Parc des Princes.
The Premier League outfit schemed their free-kick to routine to perfection after Phil Foden was brought down by Leandro Paredes.
With De Bruyne and Mahrez both lined up to take the charge of the dead ball situation, many including the PSG players perhaps thought it would have been the Belgian who would be taking the shot.
It wasn’t to be as it was the Algerian who took the free-kick and somehow managed to squeeze it through the PSG wall and inside the net.
The Parisiens’ wall has to take the blame though as Presnel Kimpembe jumped away from the ball, thus creating a hole between him & Leandro Paredes for Mahrez to sneak it through.
