Paul Pogba showed his preparedness for the upcoming round of 16 clash against Switzerland with a jaw-dropping bit of footwork in France training.
Probably one of the most technically skilled players of this generation, the Manchester United star took part in a control challenge during a practice session and was seen bringing a long ball to a dead stop with an avantgarde backheel trap.
Although Les Bleus progressed as group leaders, they had their work cut out in games against Hungary and Portugal. Needless to say, France are going to need every bit of Pogba’s genius on the ball if they are to overcome the Swiss on Monday.
Didier Deschamps’ side have a great shot at winning the tournament if they could control their remaining games with the same kind of control that Pogba displayed while executing this skill.
The amount of things that needed to happen for this to be possible is not a joke –
Touch of gold 💫
