Although Liverpool lost their pre-season clash against Hertha Berlin, the Reds did manage to bring about a sensational goal to fruition courtesy of the combined efforts of Naby Keita, Mohamed Salah and Takumi Minamino.
It was Keita who started the move for Liverpool’s second goal last night, as he won the ball back in midfield with a tackle and played an inch-perfect through ball for Mohamed Salah to get on the other end of.
The weight on the pass to play Salah in behind the Hertha defence was perfect, and the Egyptian latched onto it and smartly played a backheel pass for Takumi Minamino to convert from close range.
It was one of the best goals that you’ll see all pre-season as the Reds trio carved open their opponents on the night.
