Barcelona youngster Sergino Dest caught the eye for all the wrong reasons as Lionel Messi bid farewell to his beloved club during an emotional press conference at Camp Nou.
La Pulga broke down in tears as soon as he entered the room filled with journos, the current squad, and several former players.
Although the occasion was all about Messi’s departure from the club, a certain Sergino Dest became the talk of the town after he was seen wearing a full Chicago Bulls kit to the event.
Yes, there is a good chance that the event perhaps didn’t have a dress code for the attendees but one would have still expected Dest to show a sense of decorum towards the importance of the occasion.
Dest’s behaviour drew comparisons with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang when the Arsenal striker himself stuck out like a sore thumb during the African footballer of the year awards back in 2017.
However, Auba had a reason as he had lost his suit and all the luggage in the transit before the ceremony. Dest had none as he lives in Barcelona.
