Thomas Tuchel’s men continued their stellar victory run with a blistering 3-0 win over Leicester City on Saturday.
The Foxes looked hapless in front of a red-hot Chelsea, who remain the table-toppers in the Premier League.
Antonio Rüdiger in particular had a memorable day, as he bagged the opening goal for the Blues at the 14th minute. But as sublime as his headed finish was, his celebration post his side’s second goal was even more startling.
With his side having gotten a two-goal cushion at the 28th minute after an outside-the-box screamer from Kante rifled the net, a jubilant Rüdiger seemed to lose control in all the ecstasy, and was seen biting Reece James’ head!
As hard as the fans tried, there was no good explanation for this abject absurdity except that “James really is a tasty player!”, as stated by a user.
Chelsea scored the third goal in the form of a diving effort from Christian Pulisic (71st minute), while there was no response from the visitors throughout the game.
With this latest win, Chelsea are 6 points clear at the top of the Premier League table and look nearly invincible given their successive domination of their opponents.
