Vinicius Junior is starting to look unstoppable. Going from strength to strength, the 21-year-old delivered another impressive performance in Real Madrid’s 4-1 victory over Granada.
Going by his high standards, the first half was rather lukewarm for the Brazilian.
He continued to probe at the Granada backline but just wasn’t able to find that killer instinct. The second half however brought along a different story.
His skill and flair took centre stage firstly when he tapped home a sublime, sweeping passing move resulting in Madrid’s third goal.
The Brazilian then grabbed the limelight after he went on a dizzying run ripping apart the left side of the Granada defence.
Beginning with a sublime lift over the head of the charging Isma Ruiz, the Brazilian continued his run until Ruiz managed to catch up to him and put a foot in on the ball.
Finding himself between two opposition players, Vinicius showed fantastic persistence as he outpaced Monchu Rodriguez to the loose ball.
He then leapt over a lazy challenge from Ruiz with utmost ease before being brought down by Monchu with a desperate lunge.
The Brazilian laid on the floor with a smile on his face as he knew that Monchu would see red for that challenge and that his job was done.
