Arsenal have effectively turned around their fortunes as they made it 4 wins from 4, with last night’s display at Carrow Road being a real highlight.
The marauding Gunners put 5 past Norwich, a ruthless performance, one that cements Arsenal’s credentials as favourites to book a top 4 berth.
The performance had Gooners online buzzing and the displays of 2 Arsenal stars, in particular, were heavily applauded.
Bukayo Saka
Bukayo Saka has been a mainstay in the Arsenal 11 since last season on the back of impressive performances and his incredible versatility, and it was only fitting that the Gunners’ Talisman got on the scoresheet.
Saka might’ve sorted out his finishing… it’s over for everyone

Saka matched his league goal tally for last season already, should be aiming for double digits this time

Bukayo Saka is something else man.

Unbelievable end product and consistency with such ease.
He’s a player that encompasses everything good about football.
During Arsenal’s slump, some users audaciously drew comparisons between the 20-year-old and United youngster Brandon Williams.
Saka effectively put these comparisons to bed last night, as he terrorized the right side of the pitch for the entirety of the game, leaving Williams clueless.
Bukayo Saka hadn’t forgotten about that United fan who compared him to Brandon Williams, and he took it personally. He has cooked him all afternoon at Carrow Road.

For at least 2 months or since the loss to Liverpool there hasn’t been a left back saka hasn’t absolutely terrorized

The scintillating display drew deserved praise for the Three Lions international who continues to look unstoppable and his spot in the 11 looks far from threatened.
Saka is hitting that generational star boy level now. Nobody can even argue it

Saka is going to be our starting RW for years man, Pepe should just go away for the sake of his own career

Martin Odegaard
The second topic of discussion for fans online was Norwegian international Martin Odegaard.
The 23-year-old looked in his element throughout the game, spraying passes out to all sides of the pitch and creating many chances in the process.
His contributions in Kieran Tierney’s and Smith Rowe’s goals earned him comparisons to Arsenal’s former creator in chief Mesut Ozil.
Martin Odegard is the new Ozil.

Odegaard can see a pass ordinary players can't see. He has good eyes, weigh on the ball and timing. He's been creating a lot for Arsenal since he came into their starting XI.
— Vince™ (@Blue_Footy) December 26, 2021
Odegaard is absolutely fantastic to watch, he's like Ozil but actually works hard off the ball.
— Noel Mickedy 🇮🇪 (@noelmickedy) December 26, 2021
Odegaard is everything we wanted Ozil to be! He tracks back, not scared to make a challenge and for me generally all round better. He’s found his feet now and we are reaping the benefits

Other responses featured a call for apologies from those who had written the Norwegian off after his move from Real Madrid –

I was fighting for my life in the group chats backing Odegaard. We thank God for his rich vein of form.

Must be a real struggle finding the content for those Odegaard ‘fail’ comps at the moment
