Everton have finally escaped from the turbulent regime of former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez
Under the Spaniard, the Merseyside Blues have sunk to the 16th spot in the league, just 4 points away from the relegation zone.
The final few months under Rafa were akin to pandemonium and he became a target amongst Evertonians.
Nonetheless, fans now have newfound hope due to the arrival of new manager Frank Lampard.
The former Chelsea manager seems to have the backing of the board as well, considering they pulled 2 important transfers on deadline day.
One of those was Manchester United’s Donny van de Beek, who they signed on a loan deal.
The Dutchman’s stint at Old Trafford so far was largely reserved to the bench, he will be hoping for much more playing time after the move.
Everton fans have already expressed their excitement with all the changes and even went as far as adding their new signings to a mural.
In this image which emerged online, a mural painted by Everton supporters can be seen.

Blue in colour, it features the likes of Richarlison, Demarai Gray, Anthony Gordon alongside Van De Beek and Dele Alli.
While it’s a nice touch, many users online were in agreement that it’s a bit premature to add new signings to a mural, especially the former Ajax man who’s at Goodison on a temporary deal.
The art was mocked by users on Twitter, with some stating that it ‘reeks of desperation’.
It’s true that the Toffees certainly haven’t had much to cheer about in recent years, but the Chelsea manager brings with him some promise and most importantly hope.
So what he’s changed the team and he’s staying so do one cos you can’t paint murels
