It’s the tail-end of the season, and as is customary, a number of kit leaks have begun to emerge.
In the coming weeks, many will pop up, the most recent one being Chelsea‘s third kit for the 2022/23 season.
Initial images of the Blues’ home kit have already leaked, displaying a royal blue base paired with a turquoise neckline. Going by the leaks, their forthcoming third kit also opts to keep it uncomplicated but offers up an intriguing colour choice.

As seen in these images, the base is ‘Sesame’ (Gold) in colour along with black and orange accents. The base gives off a tinted golden shade and contrasts well with black coloured logos emblazoned on the shirt.
Chelsea’s club crest also has been enveloped in black.
Other noteworthy details include a black rear-collar panel and sleeve cuffs which feature black and orange stripes.
Chelsea’s sponsor Nike often play it safe when home and away kits are concerned, and usually opt for eye-catching colours and hues with the third kit. The leak appears to follow suit.
Reactions from Blues fans online were largely positive, with many praising the primary shade.
There was, however, a major complaint, one in which Nike played no hand in.
The gripe revolved around the presence of the Three UK logo, the telecommunications company who’ve gained infamy amongst the Blues faithful.
The sentiments emerged after Three ‘temporarily suspended’ their relationship with the club, indicating their desire to distance themselves from Chelsea.
And going by the replies, Chelsea fans share similar thoughts and called for the logo to be binned.
Someone take off the 3 .
