Rarely do fans have the luck of witnessing a title-winning goal right at the death of a match, let alone one that defines a player’s career, and a football club’s future.
Such is the case of the iconic ’93:20′ goal scored by Manchester City legend, Sergio Aguero.
A mere mention sets the scene, the pass by Balotelli, Manchester United’s celebrations on the split-screen, and Aguero’s emphatic finish raining on their parade.
Martin Tyler’s voice cracking as he struggles to comprehend what he’s witnessing, alongside those at the Etihad, and the millions watching from across the world.
The shirt comes off and the Argentine celebrates a historic league title with a rapturous Etihad.
It really doesn’t get any better than that.
Naturally, following Aguero’s tragic early retirement from the beautiful game, the Cityzens have been in full flow honouring the man, and the moment.
It started with the ’93:20′ timestamp being featured on this season’s home kit inside the neckline, and also the announcement of a Sergio Aguero statue outside the Etihad.
And with the 10th anniversary of “Agueerooo” fast approaching, Man City along with sponsors Puma have conjured up a new special edition kit.

Leaked via FIFA 22 of all places, images of the kit have emerged.
The jersey is white with sky blue stripes, and the various logos are enveloped in dark blue along with golden outlines, a nifty look.
The stripes are heavily detailed as they feature stills from the iconic moment, including the strike and celebrations. An additional ’93:20′ detail on the upper back of the shirt completes the design.
Alongside a first look, the kit’s pricing has seemingly been revealed as well. A $60 price has led to suggestions that the anniversary kit is all set to be a pre-match top.
Nevertheless, all those details will follow once the kit is officially announced, the date of which shouldn’t be too far now.
