AC Milan and sportswear brand Puma have been knocking it out of the world lately when it comes to kits and jerseys.
The most recent example is their eye-catching 4th kit created in collaboration with Italian fashion brand, Nemen.
Going by recent leaks, the Rossoneri are all set to follow it up with next season’s home kit.
As revealed by Footy Headlines, fans received an exclusive look at the upcoming home kit, and so far, it has garnered rave reviews online.
The shades in use remain essentially the same as the current iteration, with both black and tango red returning. However, neat design tweaks help the kit appear fresher, and also differentiate it from its predecessor.
Instead of red being the primary colour, black takes its place and red stripes run vertically across the shirt, a simple but effective swap.
The design utilizes the Puma Ultraweave template, and as such, the stripes resemble a box structurally, instead of running all the way down.
Just like the current version, the sponsors’ logos remain all white.
The most striking feature of the shirt has to be the sleeves.
All black in colour, they feature a pattern at the end that displays the 3 shades seen on the Italian flag.
With AC Milan currently in pole position to win the Serie A, one can’t help but wonder if this addition involved a bit of foresight.
If the Rossoneri are crowned the kings of Italy, they can proudly display the Scudetto badge on their kits, which will pair brilliantly with the sleeve graphic.
Going by fan reactions, Puma has another hit on their hands, and if the Scudetto is achieved, this kit may just become an all-time favourite.
