The Englishman jokingly asserted that Silva simply “had to go off the pitch”, as the midfielder being subbed for Illkay Gundogan ended up changing the game.
In a hilarious retort, the Portuguese clapped back and said “One of the secrets to win was to keep Jack Grealish on the fu*king bench.”, a comment which left Grealish in splits.
The 26-year-old looked to be living his best life, and fans online loved it.
Unfortunately, Grealish drew the ire of Newcastle United fans after he, quite randomly, made a comment about Miguel Almiron.
While stating the ‘secrets to win’ alongside Silva, the forward said “Riyad [Mahrez]: take him off as soon as possible, he played like Almiron.”
