Manchester United’s start under Erik ten Hag has been a topsy-turvy ride so far.
They started the season in awful fashion, losing their opening games to Brighton and Brentford.
The Red Devils have since bounced back, winning 4 Premier League games on the trot in a compelling fashion.
It’s still unclear how this side can be judged under the new management.
But one thing that has already received the fans’ judgement is the three kits officially released by the Red Devils.
The home kit, especially, is a regal, fine version of what they should look like.
Adidas have added a 90s-inspired collar to the t-shirt to make it a bit of a throwback.
But what if there could be an alternative addition to it?
Nowadays, black kits are in trend.
Adidas themselves have developed gorgeous black away jerseys for the likes of Arsenal, Real Madrid and Juventus this season.
Doing the same for United could’ve created a special kit.
And that’s exactly the inspiration behind these black edition 22/23 Man United home kits doing the rounds on Twitter.
One fan (@Utd_Zohair) has produced a gorgeous black kit that is basically a remake version of their current home kit. It’s the same design pattern, but with a change in colour.
This fan-made black attire has now been photoshopped on Antony, Bruno Fernandes and Cristiano Ronaldo to show just how good it can look on the players.
The black t-shirt has faded white stripes all over the middle, with the TeamViewer logo also being coloured white to bring a slick black and white combination which matches each other.
The club’s iconic red colour is also displayed in the kits, being positioned over the shoulders of the players.
It isn’t extravagant but manages to look much more appealing than a number of United kits which have been released by Adidas in recent years.
So far in the Premier League history, United have donned a black-inspired away kit in ten different seasons.
The recent-most one was in the 2017/18 campaign, where they finished second in the Premier League under Jose Mourinho.
