Even during the World Cup season, the kit leaks continue.
Following an ongoing trend, kits of many European heavyweights for the 2023/24 season have leaked prematurely, mostly in the form of colourways and design details.
Footy Headlines, who are usually behind most leaks, have managed to reel another catch out of the water, by revealing a first look at the 23/24 Home Kit for Real Madrid.
Celebrating their 120th anniversary, Los Blancos’ primary kit for the current season is rooted in the club’s history, featuring the traditional white paired with purple accents.
Courtesy of sponsors Adidas, the look largely impresses fans, and based on these details, 23/24 will follow suit.
Early leaks suggested a return to Gold for the Merengues, bringing to mind the famous 2011/12 Home kit.
The retro design featured Golden Three Stripes running across the shoulders along with a gold-trimmed collar.
As per an early render of the forthcoming kit, the gold will indeed feature, although in a much different capacity.
It displays a more traditional look at the forefront, white being the predominant shade with black accents all around.
A matte-like gold pops in around the v-neck collar, and also around the sleeve cuffs.
The Three Stripes are present in their full glory on the shoulders and are coloured in black. As for the logos, they also feature in black, with the Adidas logo going the minimalist route by skipping out on the lettering.
The early look is a promising one, and while the gold could be utilized a bit more, its presence still catches the eye.
Fans online were mostly impressed with the render, although a common complaint soon appeared.
It had all to do with the ’14’ badge present on the sleeve, which represents the number of Real Madrid’s Champions League triumphs.
Madridistas suggested that the badge should read ’15’ instead.
Safe to say, the confidence remains high as ever.
