We wouldn’t be surprised if you happen to have a distasteful look on your face as your eyes meet this kit design.
FootyHeadlines has been consistently coming up with the latest leaks and designs for next season’s kits. The reliable source has come up with another jersey leak, this time taking a trip to Turin.
The season hasn’t been kindest to the fans of The Bianconeri. After an underwhelming post-Ronaldo first season, expectations were very high from Allegri’s second season back at the helm of Juventus.
Strong recruitments with the likes of Gleisom Bremer, Angel Di Maria, and Paul Pogba boosted the spirits among the fans for what was expected to be an exciting season ahead.
That, however, has been far from the case. A slow start to the season with an early UCL exit was followed by a mid-season resurgence for the Old Lady which invoked the hopes of a title charge among the fans.
The dreams were quickly shattered after Juventus met with a 15-point sanction, killing the hopes of a title charge. Juve currently sits 7th on the points table, struggling for a UCL spot next season.
Things have gone even sourer for the supporters of the club after the brand new leaks that drop a hint at the jersey Juventus might be sporting next season.
Breaking Down The Leaked Kit
Continuing with the traditional black and white base, Adidas has come up with another beautiful pattern of stripes following up on the success of Juventus’ highly acclaimed zig-zag stripes this season. These stripes, which give out a wavy appearance, have been described to have a “fur effect” to recall the zebra’s coat.
Another interesting element of this kit is the shirt sponsor. On a yellow base and a yellow outline, the letters “Jeep.” have a thunderstorm-based pattern in them, continuing with the current pattern yet giving out a fresh feel.
A change in pattern from this season, the logos of Adidas and Juventus are represented in yellow. Both the collars and the accents at the back are expected to be black, similar to the 2022/23 season kit.
The spoilsport, for many, however, is a yellow accent bordering the shirt from top to bottom. In a risky move, Adidas have introduced the color yellow in the collar, the sleeves, the sleeve ends, the logos, and the thick panels around the sides of this furry kit.
What Are The Feelings?
Fans haven’t been kind to Adidas after taking a first glance at this jersey. A Twitter user suggested that the jersey looks like a bathing suit bought on a beach. Another has asked Adidas to fire the kit designer. “Bring back Nike” tweets were a common feature in reaction to this leak. Some have gone as far as to give this jersey a -10 rating.
Though, for some, the adventurous design from Adidas has been a breath of fresh air.
