The Academy Award winner, who was previously touted among the three idols of perfectionist Guardiola, once again visited the Red Devils as they took on the Gunners.
Pep’s comments about his three idols Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods and Hollywood star Julia Roberts sparked many comments at the time in March.
Guardiola had openly previously expressed his disgruntlement about Julia Roberts visiting the red half of Manchester in the past.
The City boss would probably have been hoping the recent treble-winning exploits of the Cityzens would bring his idol over to the other side.
Fast forward to four months and Roberts was presented with a personalized shirt by the management of Manchester United as social media was filled with the Notting Hill star posing with Red Devils manager Ten Hag at the MetLife stadium.

The 55-year-old Hollywood star was amongst the first to congratulate Pep after City’s Champions League victory.
However, the congratulatory message did little in reality to change the course of Robert’s heart as she posed for a picture with the Manchester United talisman Rashford and thereafter with Jadon Sancho and Casemiro.
The defenders were not to be left behind, and soon enough surely surfaced pictures of Roberts holding up a jersey of Lisandro Martinez before clicking photographs with left-back Luke Shaw.
Speaking about the much-beloved actor at the time, Pep mentioned, “Julia Roberts years ago came to Manchester, not in the 90s when Sir Alex Ferguson was winning titles and titles and titles.
She came in the period where we were better than United, in these four or five years, right?
And she went to visit Manchester United. She didn’t come to see us. That’s why even if I win the Champions League, it will not compare the fact that Julia Roberts came to Manchester and didn’t come to see us.”
Roberts is definitely amongst the most celebrated football celebrity fans out there. As the internet flares up about Pep having his heart broken by her, many teams will be hoping it doesn’t trigger a more ruthless approach from the Catalan manager.
