Jude Bellingham and Adidas Tease Upcoming Release

Adidas, Jude Bellingham, Real Madrid

Jude Bellingham’s meteoric rise and success on the pitch has been mirrored by his growing presence off the field as well, most recently marked by what looked to be an exclusive Adidas event held at the Adidas Global HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

Bellingham, currently injured, has spent his time during this international break to make an appearance at this event to promote and potentially expand his JB collection.

The event at Adidas HQ was a relatively intimate affair, with guests seemingly limited to a select group of invitees. While Adidas has yet to release official details, those in attendance looked to be treated to a Q&A session with Jude and Adidas CEO Bjorn Gulden who was hosting the event.

From videos it looks as like the event was held in a dedicated space in the Adidas HQ that focused on small sized launch events and other small gatherings. The crowd can be seen facing multiple screens on the wall that displayed things like Jude’s stats, live video feed of the event happening in the centre and images from Bellingham’s collection with Adidas.

Alongside Bellingham and Gulden, Sumeyye Boyaci, Turkish paralympic swimmer and a fellow Adidas athlete, also made an appearance.

Gulden showed his support for Jude by sporting the blue collared jersey from the JB originals collection while Boyaci wore her Turkey paralympics kit.

In a conversation clipped from the event, Jude talks about how he stays humble and the importance of it, “People around me help me a lot. I still see myself as just Jude. I never want others to see me as Jude Bellingham the football player—just Jude the person. My friends and family keep me very grounded,” he said during the event.

Bellingham’s current Adidas collection debuted earlier this year and has been well-received by both fans and fashion enthusiasts.

The collection, in collaboration with Adidas Originals inspired from the 80s and 90s, pays homage to Bellingham’s roots with its red, blue, and white color palette—a nod to England, his home country.

The collection includes a jersey, tracksuit, ringer tee, and shorts all following the England colour palette and feature the stylish JB monogram with the jersey having subtle pattern of the JB logo across the front.

Bellingham himself has expressed his pride in the collaboration, saying, “It’s a dream come true to launch my first collection with Adidas. Growing up, Adidas has always been a huge brand for me, so to have my own collection alongside other legends is a big honour.”

Though Adidas hasn’t officially confirmed a new drop, the event provided several clues that a fresh Bellingham x Adidas collection is on the way.

The key takeaway from the event being Jude’s drip. Bellingham sported a tracksuit from what we speculate to be the next designs for the JB x Adidas Originals drop.

The tracksuit featured a sleek black base with yellow accents, including the iconic Adidas trefoil logo and three stripes down the side, all in a yellowish-gold colour.

The choice of gold hints at a possible link to Bellingham’s current club, Real Madrid, who are known for having a similar yellow in their iconic crest and kits at times. The black has also featured on multiple Real Madrid third kits in the past, serving a possible link between the new collection’s colourway and Real Madrid.

This subtle nod to his club life suggests that the new collection could be tied to Adidas’ ongoing partnership with the Spanish giants.

The brand recently launched a Real Madrid x Originals line, which also incorporates darker tones like black and brown, aligning with the direction Bellingham’s collection appears to be taking.

With the JB collection evolving, it’s fair to assume that Adidas is set to have Jude Bellingham as the face of their brand in this new generation of talent. Adidas’ commitment to this partnership is in no doubt, as Jude is the only other player to have a signature collection alongside Lionel Messi.
