17 year old Tottenham winger Mikey Moore might have shown as glimpses of what he can do on the big stage.
Moore made his second start of the season in Spurs’ Europa League clash against AZ Alkmaar and boy did he have skills to show off, consistently leaving defenders floundering.
In minute 45 of the game Moore generated what is one of the best highlights of the game, turning one defender in the Spurs half and then used his explosive pace to beat two more defenders.
He capped off this brilliant run with an outside foot pass- Hazard and KDB like, that perfectly fell into the path of a Spurs player.
Moore had what is most definitely his best period of football from minute 45 to 65 and senior player James Maddison acknowledged his brilliance as well- comparing him to Neymar.
The performance brought so many eyes to the youngster and even Ange was all praises for Moore, ““It’s pretty hard for me to keep a lid on it now ain’t it? He was exciting. There is no point denying it.”
With Son unlikely to feature against West Ham, there is a chance we might see more of the youngster in the Premier League, especially after this performance which has clearly done him favours with Big Ange even though he’s admitted they have to use him carefully.
