Has The Boys Star Claudia Doumit Ever Played Professional Football?

Australian actress Claudia Doumit has gained a lot of popularity with her impressive work in the hit Amazon TV series ‘The Boys’ in recent years.

She played the role of Victoria Neuman in the TV show, gaining fanfare with some commendable acting skills and her beautiful personality.

The 32-year-old actress has appeared in other popular mediums, like voicing the female lead in the 2019 ‘Call of Duty Modern Warfare’ as well as its two sequels.

But it’s her performances in The Boys that has earned her a spike in popularity, and she’s done a lot of smart promotional work to make the series a beloved one all over the globe.

That includes The Boys’ casts attempts at getting more viewers from Brazil. Some members of the TV show’s cast decided to visit Brazil to watch Palmeiras in action.

Amazon was able to get their Boys’ cast and the Palmeiras team to do a bit of a tie-up where their TV shows’ cast members would get to visit the Brazilian team’s Allianz Parque Stadium and even kick a few footballs around.

It was during this promo tour that Doumit was able to prove her impressive footballing skills.

Some behind-the-scenes photos from the event shows just how knowledgeable and admirable the Aussie actress’ shooting skills are.

This probably happened in 2022, when the Boys’ crew visited Brazil to promote the show and even visited the Palmeiras’ stadium.

Going by her posture and execution, Doumit appears to have some kind of training as a footballer and know exactly how to shoot the ball to score goals.

Doumit’s impressive footballing’ ability has earned her even more popularity among fans and gotten some wondering if she actually played the game seriously before breaking through into the acting industry.

The 32-year-old is a Sydney-born actor, who is of Lebanese and Italian ancestry. She did her educational qualifications in Australia, including her high school studies at St. Vincent’s College, Potts Point in Sydney.

This is an all-girls boarding school and of course they have a football training program for those girls interested in it. They have their girls’ team participate in the IGSA (Independent Girls Schools Sporting Association) season, where school teams from all over the country face off against each other.

Doumit has never really spoken about her love for football or if she actively participated in it at any level before becoming an actress. She has, of course, never played the game at the professional level and had enrolled for acting college once able to graduate from her high school.

With that being said, there is a strong chance she received some extensive training at the school-level and was able to learn the trades of being a footballer. The Australian Women’s football team is one of the strongest in the world, being ranked in 15th place in the FIFA World Rankings.

The country has produced sensational talents like Sam Kerr too. The reason for that is because girls are given valuable training at the school level, allowing them to excel and develop into seasoned professionals.

Doumit, of course, never had any dreams of being a footballer and aspired to become an actor. But going by her stance and style of kicking a football, it’s clear she received some form of training as a child or teenager.

Perhaps her amateur-level football skills can make her the ideal casting to play a ball-playing character in a football-based movie or a popular female footballers biography in the near future.
