The alleged home Chelsea kit for the 2025/26 season has got the Blues fans talking. They can’t stop admiring the neat work done by the designers at Nike. The plain blue kit with the all-white Chelsea crest is giving a classy, sophisticated look, and the fans are captivated by it.
While this season’s kit has a more modern touch to it, with light-blue streaks haphazardly sketched on a canvas of deep blue Chelsea jersey, the leaked 2025-26 kit goes for a simple blue base, which also contrasts elegantly with the white Chelsea crest and the white Nike emblem, making it so easy on the eyes. The Nike emblem will have a red border while the white Chelsea crest will be backed by a subtle red shadow to give it a 3D feel. Other than that, the sides of the jersey will be lined white. The V-shaped collar will be half blue and half white.
The fans are clearly impressed by the home jersey. One fan wrote, “This is a prem(ier league) winning kit.”
Another fan shared, “IH MY GODDESS.”
A fan tweeted, “I’m on minimum wage but damn!!!🔥🔥I have to cop THESE!”
A Chelsea fan wrote, “Finally a good home kit for once after ages.”
One Blues fan, however, didn’t forget about the missing Front-shirt sponsor: “With a solid sponsor this could be a pretty clean shirt.”
Which brings us to the topic of the still unresolved main shirt sponsorship matter. Chelsea have started 2 consecutive seasons without a front-shirt sponsor, which has also coincided with them not qualifying for the UEFA Champions League in back-to-back seasons. They managed to agree a 1-season deal with Infinite Athlete, worth £40 million, midway through the previous 2023-24 campaign. However, failure to secure Champions League football meant the London club not getting suitable sponsorship deal offers.
However, as the Chelsea hierarchy decided to wait it out, things have turned for the better as Chelsea are playing excellently under new manager Enzo Maresca and are second in the Premier League table. They have been in talks with a few suitors, with sources saying 5 companies are in competition. Among them are 3 airline companies – Qatar Airways, Turkish Airlines, and Riyadh Air, and 2 technology firms, with the name of Mercedes Benz doing the rounds.
A long-term deal with a yearly payout of at least £40 million will be an agreeable offer for the London club. A deal with an air-transport entity will make Chelsea the 3rd big club to have an airline company as the main sponsor, after Manchester City and Arsenal.
While different fans have different preferences for the front-shirt sponsor that makes the jersey complete for them, there is no doubt Chelsea will look to cash in on their league standings as much as possible by negotiating a lucrative sponsorship deal. Rumours are Chelsea are close to agreeing a deal. The deal will no doubt bring in sizeable revenue and funds for the transfer market. Let’s see how the Chelsea fans react when the announcement is made.
